Our history
Founded in 1977 under the name of Rymel, it was born as a distribution transformer repair plant. Later, thanks to the experience and analysis of the results collected from innumerable repairs, the manufacture of distribution transformers began.
Today, it is a company with more than 300 employees serving the people. It has new lines of products, both in the transformation of energy and in its measurement; being the regional market leader of conventional transformers; self-protected (CSP), pad-mounted, dry transformers, encapsulated in resin, current transformers (TC ́s) for low and medium voltage and potential transformers (PT ́s) for medium voltage.
We are also the representatives for Colombia of the Slovak electric meters manufacturing firm, APPLIED METERS.

Our founder Jaime Cardona Montoya starts an electrical repair and assembly workshop located in the neighborhood Barrio Triste, with 3 employees. The first job carried out was the repair of a 5 kVA transformer.
